Texas Collective Leadership for Institutional
Change in Higher Education |

Objectives:
- Build intellectual and social capital for statewide leadership
by fostering inter-institutional collaboration among faculty
and external partners to address issues and solve problems
related to the changing needs of Texans;
- Implement a variety of leadership models which have the
potential to enhance institutional transformation;
- Promote university/community partnerships to assure that
higher education is responsive to the needs of all people;
and
- Develop engaged institutions that have commitments to external
communities.
Some of this project's activities are:
- Support existing Change Projects and provide seed money
for new mini-grant projects;
- Sponsor regular education and networking events;
- Continue to partner with other Texas educational institutions;
- Create strategic university change alliances that inform
policy and practice;
- Align with other A&M System change organizations;
- Sustain models of community/university collaborative alliances;
- Create a broad-based, comprehensive web site for university
change efforts;
- Help Partners build collaborative leadership teams;
- Continue to be a clearinghouse of leadership information;
