Dr. Kathleen Albrecht Zurcher
Biography

 

Kathleen Albrecht Zurcher is the Director of Organizational Learning at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan. In this role, Zurcher provides leadership for the Foundation’s department of Organizational Learning. The department’s responsibilities include professional development and training for Foundation staff, enhancing team effectiveness, assuring that the Foundation capitalizes on lessons from grant projects and work teams, providing expertise on learning strategies, facilitating retreats and work sessions, and serving as internal consultants to various staff groups.

Previously, Dr. Zurcher was senior administrator for the Department of Family and Community Medicine at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has a 15-year history with the University of Minnesota’s Extension Service, where she served as an extension educator, professor, and extension leader for organization development. In these roles Dr. Zurcher designed and facilitated conferences, planning, learning and work sessions for extension staff and citizens throughout the United States, and for the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges annual Lay Leaders conference.

Dr. Zurcher’s degrees all are from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with a bachelor’s degree in English, and master’s and doctorate degrees in educational psychology.
